Founded in 1870 by Bruno Zwingenberger in Limbach/Saxony as one of the worldwide first sinker-producing factories. The company specialised in manufacturing sinkers for the following textile machine types:
  • Cotton machines
  • Circular knitting machines
  • Warp knitting and Raschel machines
  • Stich-bonding machines
  • Small circular knitting machines
In 1993 the following production lines were added:

  • Subcontracting of holders for stich-bonding machines using customised casting moulds
  • Battery contacts for both the electrical and electronic industries
  • Precision stampings and stamped bent parts for mechanical engineering as well as safety engineering
At present, the sinker production line includes sinkers and thread guides for Karl Mayer warp knitting and Raschel machines as well as the complete sinker range for Karl Mayer Malimo stich-bonding machines.
