Since 1870, Bruno Zwingenberger Platinenfabrik has stood for quality and reliability in the field of precision stampings for textile machines and the manufacture of needle and sinker units.
Many years of experience in toolmaking and stamping technology have made us a competent partner for our customers.
Company
Founded in 1870 by Bruno Zwingenberger as one of the world's first sinker factories in Limbach/Sa. Initially only sinkers for the following textile machine types were manufactured:
Cottonmachines
Circular knitting machines
Warp knitting and Raschel machines
Stitch-bonding machines
Small circular knitting machines
In 1993, the product range for the textile industry and textile machine construction was expanded and new products were added, incorporating the experience gained in toolmaking and stamping technology:
Production of sinker and needle units for stitch-bonding machines
Battery contacts and connectors for the electronics and electrical industry
Precision stamped and stamped-bent parts for mechanical engineering and safety engineering
Products
In addition to blanks and sockets for textile machine construction and the textile industry, our product range also includes precision stampings for other branches of mechanical engineering as well as the electronics and electrical industries and safety engineering.
Toolmaking
Many years of experience in tool making for stamped and bent parts are the basis for the high precision and repeatability of our blanks, contacts and other stamped parts
Electrical contacts/battery holder
since 1993 punched and bent parts for the electrical and electronic industry are part of our product range
Sinkers - warp knitting machines
The product segment of sinkers for warp knitting machines includes not only slider or closer sinkers but also knock-off sinkers in various designs
Sinkers - stitch-bonding machines
As a long-standing OEM supplier of Malimo stitch-bonding technology (Malimo, Maliwatt and Malivlies), we carry all sinkers (knock-off sinkers, pole sinkers, counter sinkers, etc.) as well as the corresponding units.
Sinkers - Raschel machines
In the product segment of Raschel machines, we can offer thread guides such as Jacquard sinkers in addition to slide, knock-over and stitch comb sinkers.
Precision punched and bent parts for mechanical engineering and safety engineering
For other industries we offer individual solutions when it comes to small precision stamped parts that benefit from our experience in the required production technologies
